Time travelling pen (story)

 Enjoy the story I just wrote for school with the theme time travelling pen

After school, I was cycling back home, My friends take the bus but since my house is just 5 minutes away I cycle home. When I reached home I ate lunch and was watching TV..

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. When I opened it it was just some random man from the neighborhood. I asked in curiosity "Can I help you, Sir" He said "Yes Take this pen, Use this pen to travel to any timeline you want, The orange button is for travelling to the past, Green for the present and blue for the future. I heard a wierd noise from the back, but I saw nothing, When I turned back front The man had disappeared dropping the pen on the floor.

I grabbed it and quickly put it in the drawer frightened, Why I was frightened you ask because i got it from a stranger i don't even know. There are a million possibilities that could happen if i use this pen. What if the man was trying to trap me and put me in some kind of trouble or danger? So I ignored it and went back to watching tv.

                                                                    The Next day

I woke up 7 in the morning and it was raining, And Guess what? it was raining on a Sunday. That's when I remembered I left my science project outside. I quickly took an umbrella and went out, all to see my 20 mark worth science project destroyed fully covered in water

Then i remembered the time travelling pen and without thinking twice i grabbed it pressed the orange button and went to the time i made it put the project back inside and clicked the green button. I was so happy that man had gaven  me the pen or else I would have lost 20 marks. Then i thought  When would it be needed to go to the future and a second later i said "Mah" and walked away

                                                             2 weeks later

science exhibition was right around the corner so I went to the shop to buy the materials needed and the shopkeeper said it was out of stock I GOT A SUDDEN IDEA "WHAT IF I TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE" I whispered. I went to a plain sight so no one will see me disappear and went to the time about a week later brought the materials and holding those materials tight i travelled back to my time

later on i started using it for my personal needs and i thought if I have never taken that pen from the man none of this would've happened. I was so grateful i got the pen
